Hell's Best Kept SecretHells Best Kept Secret with Questions & Answers
By Ray Comfort / Whitaker House Publishers

Discover the crucial key needed to unlock the unbeliever's heart. If you are experiencing evangelical frustration over lost souls, unrepentant sinners, and backslidden "believers," then look no further. This radical approach could be the missing dimension needed to win our generation to Christ.

Does Jesus have the attributes of God?

Jesus has all the attributes of God except invisibility. He came to be seen, so invisibility was not appropriate. Here are a few of the major attributes of God exibited by Jesus, as recorded by eye witnesses:

Omnipotence (having unlimited authority or influence)

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.'" - (Matthew 28:18, NIV)

Lazarus had been dead and buried for four days when Jesus arrived (see John 11:1-44). There was no doubt Lazarus was dead. This is what Jesus did:

"Jesus called in a loud voice, 'Lazarus come out!' The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, 'Take off the grave clothes and let him go.'" (John 11:43-44, NIV)

"The men were amazed and asked, 'What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him.'" (Matthew 8:27, NIV) Jesus calmed a storm on the Sea of Galilee.

Omniscience (having infinate awareness and understanding)

"When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching he said of him, 'Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is nothing false.' 'How do you know me?' Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, 'I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.'" - (John 1:48, NIV)

"Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts..." (Mark 2:8, NIV)

"For he knew who was going to betray him, andthat was why he said not every one was clean." (John 13:11, NIV)

Eternal (existing forever in the past and future)

"'I tell you the truth,' 'Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I am!'" - (John 8:58, NIV) Note: Abraham was born in 2166 BC.

"And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." (John 17:5, NIV)
